1) Step one

Do your research!

• Be sure to check "about my fursuits" that shows what to expect from the suits I make!
• Check my base prices to know if it fits your budget
• Read the terms of service
• Note for allergies: I own cats and they are with me in the studio. If you have an allergy please concider either ordering at your own risk or check out other amazing makers that might not have cats

2) What do you need to commission?

Decide what your looking for!

• Do you want just fursuit parts? And which? Maybe a minipartial or go all out and get a fullsuit?
  

• You'll need a clear SFW unshaded reference sheet with front and back view
  - side view for more complex designs
  - made sure all details are visible and clear
• If there are any specific design details make sure they're pointed out clearly (zig-zag markings can especialy look like fur texture and might be mistaken for a "straight line") or let me know when sending the ref.
  
• I do not work with AI generated reference sheets! No exceptions
• If you don't have a character I also offer artistic freedom suits (in that case you'd need some info: species, what colours you'd like, ...)

3) Get a quote

Quotes are free and always open! Here's what info I'd need from you:

• Commission type - parts (and which) / mini partial / planti/digi fullsuit / ...
• Add ons - upgrade to indoor feetpaws / eyelids / sandals / ...
  
• Reference sheet (or info for artistic freedom design)
• Details - if there is something specific you have in mind, I'll need to know
• Fur - if there are fursuit parts that you'd need to match, please have links/info ready for the furs/materials

How to get a quote:

• Form - quote form
• DMs - message me on any of my socials (all of them are listed in "contacts", telegram is usually the most reliable way) with all the info 

Please keep in mind that I might not reply instantly, allow me few days to notice your message, calculating your quote might take me a while as well

4) Apply for a  commission slot

So you got your quote and decided to go for it! What now?

Wait for the commissions to open

• My commission openings don't have a set schedule
• I can divide them to two types: big opening and small opening

   A) Big opening: 

• Larger projects like heads, bodysuits, fullsuits or multiple slots for parts
• I will be informing about these ahead on my social media and homepage here so you can decide and get prepaired
• New post will be made on the day of the opening with a link to a commission form that you'll need to fill out
• Form usually stays open for 5-7 days so no rush to fill it out on the first day! 
• These are NOT first come first serve and I'll be picking through the applications

   B) Small opening

• Usually for small projects like handpaws, tails or feetpaws
• These are spontaneous, without any announcement before and posted via simple posts on my socials
• Usually first come first serve

Did you get the slot?

• Yes: I'll be contacting you after the commissions close
• No: If your project didn't get picked this time around please don't be discouraged to apply next time I open, slots are limited and not everyone gets in.

5) You got the slot! 

Congratulations, you got the slot and now the process begins!

• You'll be contacted after the slots close and you'll need to confirm you want the slot
• Next up is the payment. We'll go over your quote to make sure it contains everything you want and any possible questions you might have before the payment is sent
• The first payment must be sent within 48 hours after confirmation - if that doesn't happen (unless a valid excuse is stated) the slot will be given to someone else

What I'll need from you:

• DTD (Duct tape dummy): orders with a bodysuit (tutorial and info will be provided)
• Shoes: feetpaws (can be shipped or I can buy a pair)
• Head measurements: heads
• Arm measurements: armsleeves

Trello and Telegram chat:

• After payment, a new Trello card with your project will be added to my queue, you will get a direct link to check everything
• I have a Shrumibo Telegram group for commissioners, it would be awesome if you join at least for the time during the production
  - I add all updates and WIPs of what I'm currently working on there
  - You can decline this, or just stay during your commission and leave after (understandable and no hard feelings, you can rejoin any time)

6)  Furs and details 

Suit details

• I'll be asking questions to make sure you get the suit how you want it
• For example, the style of the eyes (2D/3D follow-me eyes), digitigrade leg style, claw size and such

Discussion of the materials

• First we'll be picking the fur and other materials! I will provide a choice of furs, minky and such I think fits your character the most
• I usually order my furs from HowlFabrics, BigZ Fabrics, Efutro and sometimes MofuMofu or MieMie for specific colours 
• My suits are usually lined with patterned lycra fabric, I'll send you some patterns to pick from

After all is discussed and confirmed I order the materials, your project will be on hold until these arrive and it's the perfect time to give me all the stuff I need from you

7)   Production

How I work

• Please keep in mind that I work on multiple projects at once, this keeps me working and without burnout.
• You can check my current queue and how many other projects there are in my Trello. I usually update my Trello in real time as I work and checklists are very detailed!
• If you decide to join the Telegram group, all updates on work will be shared there.

Work in progress

• I will send you WIP pictures in the middle of work so you can see how it's turning out
• There will be a few that will need your approval before I continue working! This mostly includes headbase shape, digi leg shape, marking placement and such. Please make sure to go over these carefully! Edits might not be possible later on!
• Please make sure to reply to these in a timely manner so I can continue working. If you intend to be away from communication for any reason, please let me know beforehand.
